delivery method available. If you prefer a certain
delivery method, please make sure our Raker
team knows your choice.
Each delivery method offers slightly different options
to transport your plants (see Definitions).
RAKER TRUCK
Our private truck network delivers within
1,000 miles of Litchfield, Michigan (including
select zip codes in Denver & Houston). Canadian
customers please contact Louie LaMothe
(517.542.4518) for pool truck opportunities.
Private truck delivery is available all year.
Raker requires a 50-tray minimum order to
qualify. Non-peak (weeks 18-4) orders of more
than 500 trays qualify for FREE truck delivery.
FEDEX / UPS
There is no order minimum for freight shipments.
For item cost, please refer to the
“DEL” fi gures in your Broker Pricing Table.
CUSTOMER PICK-UP (CPU)
Many local customers utilize our CPU method.
The shipping dock is on our facility’s north
side, 200 yards beyond our main offi ce.
Please understand this method is for ordered
items only. Customers may not add items to
orders while at our facility.
AIR
In urgent or extreme situations, Raker utilizes
Air Freight to deliver product. Please understand
this is an expensive delivery option;
Raker will communicate all associated fees
before shipment.

DEFINITIONS
Pricing Category
Raker offers two pricing categories: Delivered (DEL)
and Freight-on-Board (FOB). Please refer to your
Broker Pricing Tables for exact delivery pricing.
Transport Method
CPU and Raker Truck shipments deliver in either
boxes, on metal racks, or on our patented shipping
“cradles.”
Tray Minimum
Raker requires no minimum order. But there is a
50-tray minimum to qualify for Raker Truck or Air
Freight.
Claim Contact
Formal delivery claims must route through your
Broker offi ce (see page 64). Please inspect product
when received and fi le a claim immediately with the
driver.
Notification Option
Raker posts FedEx/UPS tracking numbers on www.
raker.com when product leaves the facility. Raker
is not liable for product shipped to customers with
“delivery waivers” or “signature releases.” Speak
with your FedEx/UPS driver to ensure product is not
delivered to an unattended facility.
Additional Fees
Raker shipping fees are all-inclusive. Although there
are additional handling and inspection fees for product
shipping outside the U.S. and via Air Freight.
Ship-To Location
Each delivery method offers various delivery ranges
from our facility (Litchfield,
Michgian 49252).
Full Tray Equivalent (FTE)
Raker shipping fees are calculated using FTE. An FTE
equals one plug tray or two strip trays (21¼” x 11”).
Shipping Schedule
Raker ships product Monday - Thursday, FedEx/UPS
delivers product Tuesday - Friday; Raker communicates
any shipping delays to affected parties via
Weather & Order Alerts.
