All Raker orders route through a preferred broker. Although the process may differ slightly depending
on the broker, Raker order guidelines remain constant.
ORDER DEADLINES
Raker must receive seed orders by 5:00 p.m. Friday before the requested sow week. We must receive
vegetative cutting orders three weeks before the requested stick week (i.e., add three weeks to the
vegetative liner age).
EARLY ORDER DISCOUNT (EOD)
To qualify for the Raker 10% EOD, place orders 12 weeks before the ship date.
ORDER DETAILS
Make sure to include a contact name, billing & shipping address, phone & facsimile number, e-mail address,
requested plant items, requested tag items, requested ship date, desired delivery method, and
any special instructions.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Before confi rming an order, we ensure the requested items are available. Due to plant timing, availability,
or quality some items may not be available from our originators. If a plant item cannot be
acquired, or does not meet our quality specifi cations, we will contact the broker to suggest possible
substitutions or delays.
CUSTOM ITEMS
Raker reserves the right to approve all custom items. There is no extra charge for custom items, but an
item’s delivery date may be adjusted due to availability or limited item information (see page 22).
FUTURE & INVENTORY ORDERS
In addition to scheduled (future) orders, our website
(www.raker.com) routinely offers both inventory
and speculation items (i.e., Availability). Log
onto our website and click on the ‘Availability’
tab. The ‘Availability page’ displays any inventory,
speculation, or availability items currently
at Raker.
NO ORDER MINIMUMS
For listed varieties, there are no order minimums.
Raker does not require delivery or shipment minimums
due to our unique selection of box sizes
and confi gurations.
