 Keys To Remember

  • Know your Volume. If you don’t, call you broker salesmen or call us!
  • Any Raker Power Plug or Power Strip tray is considered one tray in determining volume discount. Both can be combined on any single order.
  • All Raker purchases – annual, perennials, plugs or liners - count towards your yearly volume. Once you achieve a new volume level, all further purchases will be at that new volume level for purchases over 16 trays.
  • Raker offers year round opportunity - you can ship Raker products every month of the year. Think of Raker as your one-stop-shop for annual plugs & liners, perennials, herbs, grasses, cut flowers, florist pot crops, poinsettias & garden mums. This is your key to building volume and receiving higher discount levels.

    EXAMPLE 1

    Growers A is under an acre and grows a full line of spring bedding plants. He is currently at Volume 2, since he has purchased 78 trays of annual plugs and liners.

    By booking 3,000 Yoder Garden Mums in 50 strip trays (3,000 / 50 = 60 trays) he is now at Volume 3. Grower A will now receive Volume 3 pricing
    (78 + 60 = 138 trays).

    By booking his 380 trays of 36 Power Strip™ perennials, he is now a Volume 4 customer (138 + 380 = 518 trays). Now Grower A can purchase his poinsettia liners and any future orders at a very competitive Volume 4 pricing level on all future shipments of 16 trays or more.

    EXAMPLE 2

    Grower B is currently a Volume 3 customer, purchasing 368 trays of only fall pansies & violas.

    By placing her sequence of cyclamen orders totaling 156 trays, mixing 36 strip trays and 128 plug trays. She is now a Volume 4 customer. (368 + 156 = 524)

    In the spring, Grower B brings in 25,000 geranium liners in 24 strip trays. (25,000/24 = 1,042 trays). She also decided to try EZ Elle QuickTurn liners for her summer gallon program and brings in 17,000 assorted varieties.
    (17,000 / 18 = 945 trays)

    She’s now a Volume 5 customer (1042 + 945 + 524 = 2,511) and will receive Volume 5 pricing for all future purchases over 16 trays.
