Power Plug TM Trays

Raker offers trays from The Blackmore Company. Tray outside dimensions are 21 ¼” x 11”. The variety listing will indicate the “Sold As” count per tray for plugs & liners. The 512 and 288 tray are common element compliant.

512 Power Plug™ Trays – Sold as 500 or 450

512 Power Plug Tray

  • Dimensions: 9/16” square cell, 5/16” deep with 3.1 cc volume and 9° taper
  • We offer annuals and vegetables in this tray size
  • Most commonly used for bedding plant production
  • Vegetable & Marigold trays sold as 450 (unpatched)
  • Generally will take 2-3 weeks longer to finish than a 288 plug



288 Power Plug™ Trays – Sold as 280

288 Power Plug Tray

  • Dimensions: 3/4” square cell, 1” deep with 6.0 cc volume and 11° taper
  • Our most popular and versatile cell size
  • We offer annuals, perennials, grasses, cut flowers, florist pot crops, vegetables and herbs in 288 trays
  • Used for larger cell packs, 4” & larger pots, baskets, quarts, gallons
  • Generally will finish 2-3 weeks faster than a 512 plug

  • Dimensions: 11/16” square, 1 1/2” deep with 12 cc volume and 15° taper
  • We offer annuals, perennials, grasses, cut flowers, florist pot crops, and herbs
  • Our most versatile perennial plug size

  • Used for larger cell packs, pots, baskets, quarts, gallons

Power Strip TM Trays

Power Strip™ Trays feature the Danish Ellepot system. These trays are half the width of our standard Power Plug™ trays, at 21 ¼” x 5 ½”. Ellepot technology features quick transplant & rapid root growth for faster finish. We offer vegetative annuals, perennials, grasses, herbs, cut flowers, pot crops and garden mums in the following sizes.

51 Power Strip™ Trays – Sold as 51

51 Power Strip Tray

  • Dimensions: 25 mm (1” x 1 ½” deep, 5° hex taper)
  • Compare to a 102 hex tray cell, but finishes faster
  • Used for all pot sizes, baskets, gallons, mixed containers
  • Most of our specialty vegetative annuals are available in this size
  • Allows you to purchase more items at a lower minimum per variety

  • Dimensions: 30mm (1 1/4" x 1 3/4" deep, 5o hex taper)
