Ordering with Raker-Roberta’s is easy and hassle-free! Here’s everything you need to know to get started:

  • Minimum Order:
    A minimum of 4 trays is required for all items and programs. Please note that strip trays count as 1 full tray.
  • Below Minimum Fee:
    R2 offers all products in multiple tray sizes to ensure that there is an option that fits every type of grower's needs.
  • For Grower Truck/LTL Delivery:
    A 50-tray minimum is required for Grower Truck or LTL delivery requests.

Delivery Options – Customer Pick Up

To ensure a smooth pickup process, all customers are required to schedule an appointment for order pickups.

  • Appointment Scheduling: R2 will reach out to you the week before your scheduled shipping week to
    arrange your pickup date and time.
  • Optional Boxing Service: If you’d like your order boxed, please request this service when scheduling. Note
    that a boxing fee will apply.

Delivery Options– Grower Truck/ LTL

Minimum order requirement for the specified region is 50 trays.

  • Competitive, upfront freight rates per tray are available through your broker.
  • Please contact your broker to confirm your 2025 tray rates.
  • Receiving facilities must be equipped to accommodate and unload a semi-truck.
  • LTL (Less Than Truckload) palletized shipping will be used if a grower truck is requested but unavailable.
    (Grower truck freight rates will still apply.)

  • No Box Increment Requirements: Forget the hassle of building orders to fit specific box increments. With R2, there’s no need for even box configurations—we make it simple and flexible!
  • Freight Costs by Tray: R2 calculates freight costs per tray, making it transparent and straightforward. Contact your broker representative to learn more about our 2025 per tray freight costs for your location.
  • No Additional Packaging Fees: For UPS shipments, there are no extra fees for boxing or packaging—we take care of it all as part of our service.

The go-to-Supplier Availability

R2 provides real-time availability updates for excess inventory from our custom-grown orders on Raker.com. This availability is LIVE, accurate, and continuously updated as materials are procured for orders.

Here’s what you need to know about placing orders through our availability system:

  • Order Deadlines:
    R2 accepts new orders directly from availability for shipments scheduled for the current week. Orders must be placed by Wednesday at noon.
  • 4-Week Forecast:
    Our LIVE availability reports include surplus production details from custom-grown orders for the upcoming four shipping weeks.
  • Peak Season Surplus:
    During peak shipping periods, R2 typically has up to 3,000 trays available weekly from surplus inventory.
  • Understanding "TBD":
    Items If an item is marked as "TBD," it means:
  • The item currently has no surplus available.
  • Availability updates will follow once the Fix-UP process is complete.

R2 offers an easy and convenient way to purchase tags for most items included in our programs.

Here’s what you need to know about our tag services:

  • Available Inventory: Tags are inventoried at R2 and ready for purchase.
  • Order Size: Tags can be ordered in increments of 25.
  • Shipping Details: Tags are shipped separately from plants via U.S. Mail.
    To learn more about R2’s 2025 tag costs, contact your broker representative.
  • Please note: Tag costs include shipping directly to your door through U.S. Mail.
